Zwave cellulite treatment

Cellulite is nothing more than normal fat beneath the skin. The fat appears bumpy because it pushes against connective tissue, causing the skin above it to pucker. Cellulite isn’t harmful. Many people, though, would like to get rid of it because of the way it looks. Having cellulite doesn’t mean you are overweight. Even thin people can have it. If you are overweight, however, losing weight may reduce cellulite.

The high energy radial shockwaves scientifically proved to have a large impact on collagen structure and the skin connective tissue, improving blood circulation. It stimulates collagen formation, while the skin becomes more elastic and its firmness is visible after only a few treatments.

ZWave is used as a „stand-alone“ application or in combination with other, mostly fat reduction methods. In the case of the „stand-alone“ application, the focus is generally on improving the skin structure and connective tissue. Typical application areas are, e.g. cellulite, connec- tive tissue weakness (upper arm, underbelly, etc.) and stretch marks (striae). Thanks to the ZWave radial shockwave unit, it is also possible to significantly improve skin firmness, skin elasticity and collagen regeneration.

 Z Wave – visible results

The high energy radial shockwaves consists of two different parts – positive pressure pulse and a comparatively small tensile wave component. The shockwave squeezes the surrounding tissue and breaks the grid structure of the molecules. The tensile wave leads to a collapse of the gas bubbles within the fat structures (cavitation), which re-expand after the high energy radial shockwaves and thus ensure a destabilization of the fat structures. Thanks to its 39 mm applicator head, the ZWave transmits the radial shockwaves directly and with a high precision into the tissue. It was observed and documented that the introduction of a mechanical pressure wave triggers various tissue reactions that have a beneficial effect on the skin structure.

The average duration of one session is 20-25 minutes for one region of the body. Dosing is usually between 6 and 12 sessions with an interval of 2-6 days between the two sessions.

How long will the effects last, depends on the lifestyle of the patient. It is suggested that for the duration of the therapy the patient consume 2-3 l of water per day and that, if possible, with as few adheres to the food intake of carbohydrates.
